Profile: R(ed)

I was thinking of creating a mini-comic for this bit, but I absolutly hate drawing myself. Still sticking to the same writing style though.

Anyway, I'm R(ed) I currently live in London, England. It's not as glamerous as the media portray it I'm afraid! Ever since I was very young, it's been a dream to put whatever passes for creativity for good use, and I've had a few projects created and then discarded, but perhaps it is important to have dreams that can become reality? I tend to be better at doing that.

I created Meiosis in Autumn 2006 literally because I was bored at work, but I decided that I would take efforts to stick with it and more importantly to create something that I could see through to a logical conclusion. I'm no where near as charismatic or intelligant as my cast, but it's amusing to get them into trouble. Artistically I tend to forge my own path rather than blatently attempt someone else's technique. I am neither an artist, or a scientist after all. I'm still experimenting with what works and the hunt for the "how to draw Meiosis" tutorial is out there somewhere! :P

I do like my food and electronic music and gadgets and I seem to be getting more into the webcomic scene somehow. I find water and neon darkness comforting, I remember some good times by the Thames! As an in-joke, I tend not to get along with goths, I suppose it's a different outlook both racially and emotionally, but I've had a 100% failure rate making peace with the so called peope-of-the-night!
